HollandBasics Premium Sphagnum PEAT Moss Professional Mix (HB4) is our pH balanced professional mix containing over 30% perlite for highly effective and efficient drainage capability. Perlite also helps increase air porosity and less water retention allowing roots to utilize maximum intake of oxygen.

Our HB4 formulation also includes limestones for pH neutralize and maintain an ideal pH for growing in peat moss. We suggest keeping your pH between 6-6.5 pH however our medium will maintain balance even if your pH is a little bit off.

We’ve designed our peat growing medium to be as premium yet as simple as possible. This enables growers to attribute their own amendments to our medium for more personalized and specialized needs. HB4 can efficiently be amended with organic or non-organic fertilizer.

Our growing medium is compatible with other growing mediums such as coco coir, mineral wool, clay pellets etc.
